Living Room Tour summer 2014
In July, The Starfolk and HOLLY are heading out on a 15 city acoustic living room-backyard-dinner party-church-record store tour. We are super excited to play in intimate settings among friends! Check out the cities and dates below. The tour is being promoted by word-of-mouth. Share the news with friends around the country!
The Starfolk will be performing as a duo: Brian Tighe (of The Hang Ups) and Allison LaBonne (of The Owls); their sound is melodic, moody psych-folk-pop, rich with harmonies and adventurous chord progressions. Subtly out of this world.
Sometimes described as PJ Harvey meets The Police, or Suzanne Vega-ish, singer-songwriter (Holly Muñoz) will release her record Maps and Lists in September. HOLLY raised $50,000 to crowd fund this record, which she made with John Vanderslice.

Mad Ripple Hootenanny Photos
The Starfolk played Jim Walsh’s Mad Ripple Hootenanny Thursday 2/6/14. It was an intimate round robin singer-songwriter gathering in Harriet Brewing’s taproom. Along with host Jim Walsh, we were joined by talented songsters Todd Newman and Jeaneen Gauthier. It was a sweet night to debut a new song “Earthbound,” that we are excited about! 89.3 The Current Steve Seel’s Top 10
It was a great honor to have our new record “The Starfolk” and song “Sleeping Without Dreaming” appear in Steve Seel’s best of 2013 lists.
